Rumors in the DMV weed world are that DC i-71 storefront dispensary, Cheeba DC, has some fine exotic flavors that you won’t find in other area shops. So, when I was handed this Lemon Rainbow bag, I knew I was gonna give this one some heavy scrutiny – you don’t call your products “exotic” unless they check certain boxes. Will Cheeba live up to the hype and will Lemon Rainbow be worthy of the title? By the look (and smell) of things, I’m already leaning toward “Yes”. Either way I think it’s going to be a really stoney review session.
These tight, dense nugs are extremely purple with rust-colored tendrils. The greens that combine with the deep purple create a unique camouflage of cannabis that has to be seen to be understood. I could only imagine what this one looked like still on the “vine”.
Fresh, but beginning to cure.
It literally smells like fruity pebbles cereal.
Equally as fruity in the flavor profile. The exhale of this smoke is full of complex sour fruity funky tastes. It’s like a fruit salad desert in smoke form. Also worth noting is an essence of menthol at the finish. It really is quite unique.
The genetics of this flower remain a mystery, but I suspect that it contains a variant of Lemon Kush as well as Runtz.
Fast-acting and hard-charging, this is not couch-lock weed. I had creative energy, but at the same time my normally hyperactive mind was calmed down just enough to focus. This is a great example of a hybrid strain with a balance of effects and calming energy minus any drowsiness.
This strain checks every box for me. It has flavor for days. It smells like a super duper fruity funky blend. The terps are off the chain. The buzz is equally cerebral and body relaxing. It is potent but not overwhelming. It was sexy purple bud which screamed at me to smoke it every time I glanced in its direction (and smoke it I did). I love it and I want some more. Plain and simple: get the Lemon Rainbow before I do. And you can tell Cheeba DC that Kannabus Ben of Tokers Guide sent you!
