Initial Thoughts

As many of you already know I’m a huge, huge fan of Super Silver Haze and this batch, currently available from DC i-71 marijuana dispensary, Monko, is quite stupendous. It’s hard not to notice that it’s basically neon green and has a boatload of starry trichomes throughout. Perhaps most impactful upon first encounter, however, is the mega Hazy aroma that is nothing less than outstanding.

Appearance

Bright neon green with fiery orange pistils and lots of starry trichomes.

Status

Fresh.

Aroma

Like root beer mixed with Sprite, this has strong notes of effervescent anise and lemon-lime.

Flavor

Much like the aroma the flavor is an immensely powerful burst of anise and lemon-lime.

Lineage

The Super Silver Haze strain is a three-way cross of Skunk, Northern Lights, and Haze that results is a heavily sativa dominant hybrid.

Effects

Vibrant and uplifting from the get go this batch also had a barn storming cerebral rush that could only be described as super heady. It also possesses some euphoria that is somehow both soothing and energetic. I had no trouble focusing on any task with this buzz onboard and knocking out a to-do list was no sweat. Yet, when I finally settled down to stream some shows, absorbing the glowing buzz and converting it into something more relaxing was relatively easy.

Conclusion

This is a really nice batch of Super Silver Haze that any sativa-loving connoisseur should be happy to have on hand. With it’s uplifting, good vibe infusing, heady energy you can coast through the rest of your week and I’ve even been finding the extra oompf to keep things going after hours too.
