Initial Thoughts
I had the wonderful opportunity of attending the soft opening of Cannabist located right here in Norfolk! No more driving 30 minutes to an hour to get beautiful buds like this Sour Banana from The Bank. The Bank’s “Cache” level doesn’t usually tend to catch me off guard, but this Sour Banana has the flavors and aromas of mouth watering tart berries mixed with the sweetness of bananas… I knew it was going to be astounding on the palate once I began breaking it up and exposing the glittering trichomes inside!
Appearance
Light and dark green buds with almost strawberry colored pistils. Glittery trichomes shine through from the inside as you break it down.
Status
Dried, cured and stored with a terpene shield!
Aroma
This smells of a fresh chopped fruit salad! We’re talking sour berries with a hint of citrus and the sweetness of a ripened banana.
Flavor
A very smooth toke that tastes of sour berries, bananas, and hints of citrus.
Lineage
Sour Banana is a sativa dominant hybrid bred by The Bank. It’s a cross of Sour Diesel and Banana Sherbet.
Effects
This Sour Banana was very pleasantly surprising in flavor and aroma, but its overall effects were what blew my mind! Sativa dominant hybrids can have adverse effects when it comes to anxiety; however, this blend did the exact opposite! It made me want to go outside on an adventure. This blend also helped me to feel quite creative and focused, so getting things done around the house was a breeze!
Conclusion
If you’re a “Cannasseur” who doesn’t get caught off guard easily, I highly recommend trying Sour Banana by The Bank. The fruitiness of this blend is nothing short of lip-puckering, mouth-watering, greatness! Cannabist in Norfolk is open for their soft launch, and they’re rumored to officially open on 4/20! So, if you’re tired of driving back and forth to get your medicine, swing by Cannabist in Norfolk to add this to your stash, and don’t forget to let them know you read about it on Toker’s Guide!
