Initial Thoughts

Alt Sol’s various batches of “flower rosin” are quite spectacular and the most recent one that has caught my fancy is this Petro Chem, currently available at DC medical marijuana dispensary, Takoma Wellness Center. Even its beautiful packaging doesn’t do the quality of the contents justice and the flavor/effects combo makes me want to just keep loading and loading my concentrate vaporizer.

Appearance

Light tan and extra gooey.

Status

Fresh.

Aroma

Piney with notes of chem and subtle hints of fuel.

Flavor

Smooth and gassy with lots of chem, pine, and a bready aftertaste.

Lineage

The Petro Chem is a cross of Original Glue and Moonbow that typically runs around 50/50, but this batch is more on the sativa side of things.

Effects

Vibrant and uplifting is this high with lots of focus and drive to get things done. It’s not edgy, but reminds me a lot of some Sour Diesel given the energetic aspects and feel-so-good motivation. Use this to tackle your to-do list and feel completely void of pain while doing it. I prefer my Petro Chem in the morning, but any time of day will do.
