Initial Thoughts

This Jungle Juice from DC marijuana dispensary, Flight Pass, must be mixed with Red Bull because it provides an energy boost like no other. I always tried to stay away from the punch bowl in college but if it was filled with this type of Jungle Juice then I would’ve been making trips to get refills for everyone!

Appearance

These Jungle Juice buds are striking with their dark purple coloration, interspersed with dark olive tones. The buds are dense, coated in a layer of translucent trichomes and highlighted by patches of light orange pistils.

Aroma

A sweet fruit punch aroma, however it’s missing the citrus I expected from it being a Tangie descendent.

Flavor

On the palate, Jungle Juice does not disappoint. The strain offers a juicy sweet and sour citrus flavor, reminiscent of tropical fruits like grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon. There’s also a surprising hint of banana that lingers in the aftertaste.

Lineage

The Jungle Juice strain is a cross of Animal Cookies and Tangie that runs sativa dominant.

Effects

Jungle Juice delivered a very energizing daytime high that kept me going throughout the day. It gave me a heady, light, and floaty feeling that was both invigorating and uplifting. The effects were long-lasting, providing sustained energy and focus without any harsh comedown. What surprised me most was how it crept up on me; I didn’t realize just how stoned I was until I was fully immersed in the high.

Conclusion

I was surprised that this Jungle Juice wasn’t as Tangie forward since its crosses tend to lean pretty heavy to the orange terpy side. However, the invigorating sativa effects were exactly what I want when I’m smoking something more uplifting.
