This is not your ordinary pot cookie! No, in fact, all of Cannabake DC’s delectable treats are made by people who have training and backgrounds in professional baking. They even provide continuing education opportunities in baking and the culinary arts to their team. The idea is to help them further hone their skills, learn awesome new techniques, and bring them into the Cannabake DC knowledge-base. The result is an increasingly diverse array of delicious infused edibles for their customers.
These Salted Caramel Drizzle Cookies, for example, are oh so gooey, sugary, sweet, and salty all at once – and also quite irresistible. If you’re like me, with a constant sweet tooth and an affinity for caramel, then you might even love these cookies a little too much.
The caramel is tempered so that it’s super sticky, smooth, and with the upmost flavor in every drop. According to the Toker team, it’s unanimous that they’ve absolutely knocked these cookies out of the park. But, at 100mg each, be sure that they don’t knock you out of the park…and into outer space.
Those unexperienced with or without tolerance for edibles should take it slow and not eat very much (yes this is extremely difficult to do). I even found it difficult to do the wait and see approach given how good each bite was and how bad I wanted to eat not just the whole cookie, but several.
A highly experienced friend suggested that the best idea is to cut each round cookie like a pizza and then calibrate accordingly. For example, if it’s cut in 8 slices, then that’s roughly 12.5mg per slice. This certainly made things a little easier and it’s also kind of fun to think about it as “dessert pizza” like you might find at a Pizza buffet.
Though these cookies are not gluten free, Cannabake does have the ability to make custom orders with that option – another testament to their skill and customer-centered approach.
To have a batch of these or any of Cannabake DC’s amazing baked goods delivered to you or your next event just give them a shout today. When you do, don’t forget to let them know you heard about them on Toker’s Guide!
