Initial Thoughts
I’m like a kid in a candy shop today with some superb top-shelf exotics coming across my desk. Check out this batch of Candy Jack for example. It’s got a super delicious fruity candy-like aroma to it and, like almost all of the flower at DC i-71 cannabis delivery service Exotic Organics, it’s impressively trich’d out.
Appearance
These buds are mostly purple with patches of green and a heavy coating of large white trichomes.
Status
Beginning to cure, but the aroma is still on point.
Aroma
Like sweet and fruity candy, but not in an overpowering way. It’s hard to place the exact fruit or mix of fruit, but maybe pineapple and lemon. There are also hints of pine and gas. Makes my mouth water every time I open the jar!
Flavor
A delectably smooth and funky, creamy, tart and sour fruity flavor. Super exotic and SO delicious.
Lineage
The new era version of Candy Jack is a cross of Jack Herer and Cotton Candy that runs evenly balanced at 50/50. This is as opposed to the old school sativa-dominant version which is Jack Herer and Skunk #1.
Effects
This is a super heady experience with lots of uplifting cerebral energy and creativity. The body buzz is also tremendous and much like the glowing euphoric high of a batch of pure Jack. That said, the energy does level out eventually and there’s no “hyper-drive” – only a calming mellow feeling with a little bit of bewilderment from the potency. Note that it was also phenomenal at relieving my digestive pain.
Conclusion
Truly a great batch of this outstandingly delicious balanced hybrid. One of my favorite daytime varietals in recent memory, I’ll be burning on this one most of this weekend’s daylight hours. To follow suit just hit up Exotic Organics today and let them know that you heard about their Candy Jack on Toker’s Guide!
