Initial Thoughts

I just recently finished up a jar of Papaya live rosin that I was gifted a while back. I enjoy having strains that I know work for me in my stash box and Papaya is definitely one of them. It just happened to be great timing that DC i-71 marijuana dispensary, ,,The Green Room, dropped this amazing batch of Papaya flower right when I needed it!

Appearance

It looks much like other batches of Papaya that I’ve seen with a bright green coloration topped with juicy trichomes and dark red pistils.

Status

Fresh, but starting to cure.

Aroma

Potent and fresh smelling tropical fruits like mangoes, melons and papayas.

Flavor

Sour citrus, but I kept getting random peach schnapps notes too. Delicious!

Lineage

The Papaya strain is a cross of Citral No.13 and Ice No.2 that runs indica dominant.

Effects

Papaya, in my latest experience, showcased its prowess as a potent indica, delivering a heavy body high with a surprisingly invigorated mind. While my body sunk into relaxation, my thoughts stayed clear and engaged. My voracious appetite quickly turned into a never ending case of the munchies, however. It wasn’t truly sedating, but it’s probably one that’s best left for evening sessions or lazy days.
