Initial Thoughts
Sometimes the most convenient and discreet ways to medicate are with edibles – provided you have some experience and tolerance for them. For example, a guy I know who has issues flying on planes and dealing with turbulence always takes a few infused hard candies along to help him cope. We’re not suggesting you bring cannabis edibles on a plane, just using it as an example use-case. In such cases, a highly potent lollipop – like the ones below from DC MOTA and available at DC i-71 storefront dispensary, No Kids Allowed – can be a perfect option and delicious treat. In fact, when it comes to these fruity infused candies on a stick I guess you can call me a….sucker. ♂️
Appearance
These are large, round, colorful lollipops about the size of a silver dollar in diameter and about a third of an inch thick.
Flavor
When I last checked there were at least five different flavors including: Raspberry, Blueberry, Sour Apple, Pineapple, and Watermelon.
Lineage
Because they’re made with distillate the lineage of the cannabis involved is unknown and not pertinent.
Effects
The sugar in each of these lolli’s can cause a person’s metabolism to speed up, at first, leading to a more rapid onset of the comforting and slightly psychedelic vibes. You won’t feel an increase in intensity from each lick, at least not right away, but if you take it slow it can be a little easier to manage the eventual level of effects (which should hit about 20 to 30 minutes later). At 100mg these are QUITE strong and a whole pop is not for the newbs – take it low, slow, and don’t bite. When I manage it this way I can make it about a quarter of the way through the sucker before I feel a good body buzz, at which point I put it back in the wrapper and wait for a while. For me the buzz is euphoric and highly relaxing without any mental turbulence at that amount (probably around 25 or 30mg), but everyone responds a bit differently.
Conclusion
For all the many places you still have to be low key will cannabis, especially in terms of smell, consider these DC MOTA lollipops an ally in your fight against what ails you. Just make sure you don’t leave them in your car on a hot day or you might end up with a sticky new ornament for your dashboard.
